Just a glimpse of the exhibits displayed at the Show

(pictures from Chris Moore)

A new date for MIHS combining the Summer and Autumn Shows.

Entries totalling nearly 300 were slightly down on last year’s Summer Show. Certainly the vegetables were of a very high standard and the collection of fruits from Mr and Mrs Cooper outstanding (see bottom right above)

Despite competition from other events on the day the Show was quite well attended and the committee will decide whether the decision to change things in view of losses from all Shows and in particular the Autumn was the right one.

Trophies were presented by Mayor Alan Mogridge accompanied by Mrs Mogridge and he expressed his delight on the exhibition which was supplemented by a display by the Camera Club and plant stall, teas and raffle
