Ron and Wendy Green Pond House Mersea Island
‘Gardens Abroad’
Lill Lambert and her family, former Mersea residents, are now living in New Zealand. They paid a return visit to the island in July/August and have sent these pictures. The first one was taken at East Mersea Fete in August on the last day of their visit. The other two are of their own garden in new Zealand

Kay Chittenden (Nee Quigley) has promised to send pictures of her Californian garden. She tells us she loves Roses but has problems with ‘Gofers’. Apparently they love Rose bush roots among others! Meantime These Californian Poppies frame the view of Half Moon Bay’s Pillar Point Harbour near her home
