Lill Lambert  and her family,  former Mersea residents, whilst living in New Zealand they sent these pictures.  During a return visit to the island in July/August,Tte first one was taken at East Mersea Fete in August on the last day of their visit. The other two are of their own garden in new Zealand

Sadly Lill died very suddenly on 13th February 2013

Funeral took place at West Mersea Parish Church on

11th March 2013 attended by her many friends from Tollesbury, Colchester and Mersea

East Mersea Hall an Elizabethan family manor house is now fully licenced for civil ceremonies with choice of rooms and in close proximity to the Church of St Edmund. In summer wedding receptions can  take place in the glass fronted pavilion overlooking the lake
